Take the Part Design Challenge!!!Think your up to it? Try to create this part yourself. How to avoid the "gotcha's" of Part Design This part is an adaptation of a part I saw used in a computer hard drive. It looks simple enough but at the same time I challenge you to take the 15 mins it ought to take to build and give it a try. There's a number of tips and tricks I'll be showing at the next User Group while building this part and after having a go at it you'll get more out of it. There's a gotcha or two that you'll enjoy and find interesting. CGM Files: CGM (Computer Graphics Metafile?) is a fairly standard and also usable graphics data format. Unlike a raster format like BMP, JPG, TIFF, etc., CGM is a vector format. This means that the image can be scaled with out losing fidelity. This of course is perfect for drawing type line art. To view a CGM file use most any desktop publishing software. In Microsoft Word for example: Insert, Picture, From File.
